Get ready... We are excited to announce that Sprou Get ready... We are excited to announce that Sprout Club is back for the Summer! 🌱

Sprout Club offers free, educational (and fun) activities about food security, nutrition, and the environment for children ages 4-12 all summer long!

Make sure to stop by our Sprout Club Booth (right beside our Info Booth across from Gary's Kettle Corn) with your kids, pick up a passport and collect a stamp for participating! Each stamp is worth one entry into our sustainability-related prize pack that will keep kids learning at home!

Our editors are telling us that New West has the best, most fashionable pets around! We need to prove them right on Thursday, July 16th at 5:30pm at our second annual Paw Parade!

Does your furry (or feathery!) friend have what it takes to strut the runway? 

There will be a panel of esteemed market-famous judges, prizes to be won, and cuteness to be shared! SIGN UP NOW at the link in our bio!

All pets welcome (dogs, cats, bunnies - as long as they are well-behaved and able to remain leashed).

The New West Farmers market will be accepting dona The New West Farmers market will be accepting donations, and matching those donations up to $500, to honour Indigenous Peoples' Day, 100% of which will go to The Spirit of the Children Society. The Spirit of the Children Society is a non-profit society based in British Columbia, that serves families in Burnaby, New Westminster, and the Tri-Cities area. They work to empower and strengthen Indigenous families by providing support and resources through the programs they offer, which includes specialized program for children, youths, adults, and families. Donation link is available below, or donate at the market this Thursday, July 2nd from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in Tipperary Park.
Ree Vay (formerly ReeVay) is the moniker of Vancou Ree Vay (formerly ReeVay) is the moniker of Vancouver-based singer/songwriter Marc Rivest. Ree Vay is known for an eclectic sound that blends a wide variety of influences to create music that transcends genre. Ree Vay has been the recipient of a Fraser Valley Music Award in 2022, and has been nominated for additional FVMAs in 2023 & 2025. Ree Vay is currently preparing to release a new album of original music, which is expecting a release in late 2026.
