Apply to Perform at the Market for our 2024 season!

Please note that our market is on Thursdays from 3-7pm from March 28th-November 7th, 2024. Our market is located next to New Westminster City Hall in the Tipperary Park parking lot.

At this time, we no longer have any dates available. Applicants will be placed on a waitlist, and will be contacted should an opportunity arise. 

Though musicians are expected to perform for the full length of the market (4 hours), we do understand that this is a very long period to be performing and we expect you to take regular breaks (approximately 15 minutes every hour). We pay our musicians an honorarium and also welcome busking and selling CDs at the market.

Markets are hosted outdoors and proceed rain or shine. Performers must be able to perform in these conditions. We provide a tent, chair, and in the case of cold weather, a propane heater. We expect you to provide your own battery operated amp/pa system as we do not have power available at our market for performers.

In alignment with our organizational values, we will be prioritizing applications from BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other historically marginalized groups. We recognize the importance of diversity in our markets, and to the community of New Westminster as a whole and want to provide that reflect that diversity. Furthermore, should any performer encounter financial barriers to equipment rentals or performance, please contact our team and we’d be happy to work together towards a solution.
