Your Wildest Foods

November 29, 2017 By

Your Wildest Foods brings an array of wild delicacies to those interested in what our beautiful woodlands have to offer. We travel Western Canada for prestigious mushrooms such as the morel and the matsutake, as well as wild vegetables like samphire and fiddleheads. Through it all, we hope to help bring the culture of foraging back into a society that has leaned very far the other way. We hope to spark some excitement about the great value that our wildernesses hold- be it culinarily, ecologically, or interactively.

Land Acknowledgement

Our market is grateful to operate on the unceded land of the Qayqayt, Kwikwetlem, and other Halkomelem speaking Peoples. We acknowledge that colonialism has made invisible their histories and connections to the land. We acknowledge the incredible gift this land is to our market and BC Agriculture. We commit to the ongoing work of decolonization and allyship.
