Originally from Alberta, Sandy Haug moved to Vancouver in 2003 to enter culinary school. Working as a baker for the next year and a half she met her significant other, another baker. After working abroad for a few years she decided to settle down in the Vancouver area. As a foodie, the Lower Mainland is like a dream come true.
6 years ago she moved to New Westminster with her partner and two kids and she has never felt more at home. Falling in love with the big city small-town feel that New Westminster embodies has inspired her to become more involved in her community. By volunteering as treasurer with the New West Farmers Market she hopes to give back to this great community.
